Tsu
Tsu is the capital city of Mie Prefecture. It is located on Ise Bay and the second largest city by population in prefecture. It is directly connected by ferry from Chubu Centrair International Airport. Tsu originally developed as a castle town. During the Edo era, it became a popular stopping point for travelers to Ise shrine, about 40 km to the southeast. The main sightseeing spot is castle, Tsu-kairakuen, Tsu kannon and Sakakibara Onsen. An eel is also famous and many people visit to eat.
