Kashiwa　City

Kashiwa is a city located in Chiba and adjacent to Ibaraki prefecture put between river Tone-gawa. It is the 5th largest city in Chiba and the population is increasing as its residents commute into Tokyo. The centre of the city is dominated by the large multi-story station and the neighbouring department store. It became famous by the street musician performance at the station plaza and is called petit Shibuya today. Kashiwa is home to a professional football team, Kashiwa Reysol.
