Rausu Onsen

Rausu is located on the east coast of Shiretoko Peninsula, which is registered as world heritage on July, 2005. This is a port town famous for its Rausu sea kelp. Here you can enjoy fresh seafood and king crab and whale watching such as a sperm whale, a killer wale and a dolphin. The outdoor baths and hot springs in Aidomari and Seseki offer a pastoral perfect setting. Aidomari is the terminus of the route stretching across the eastern coast along the Nemuro Strait from Rausu.
