Miyazu

Miyazu is a city located in northwest of Kyoto Prefecture and faced to Sea of Japan. Miyazu city is famous by Amanohashidate or the 'bridge to heaven', said to be one of the Japan's three most beautiful sights. The naturally formed land bridge is 3.6km long and covered in pine trees. Many tourists visit through the year. In summer, beaches arround Amanohashidate are crowded with sea bathing people. Also, in winter, the hot spring inns in the area of Amanohashidate, many people enjoy the taste of the sumptuous crab meat.
