Gotenba

Gotemba is a city located on the southeastern flank of Mt. Fuji in Shizuoka. Located at an altitude of 250–600 meters, the city has a cool climate, characterized by high rainfall. It is the gate way to Mt Fuji and sightseeing of Hakone. There are some routes to climbing up the mountain and Gtemba and adjacent town Oyama-cho are two of them. Gotenba Premium Outlets is in the city and this is the largest outlet complex in Japan. It houses about 170 brand stores.
